Bonzo Dog Band-Fillmore East (October 18, 1969) (FLAC)

The Bonzo Dog Band
October 18, 1969
The Fillmore East
New York City, USA

There isn't much circulating live Bonzo Dog Band which makes the somewhat marginal sound quality here very acceptable to my ears. Please check the samples to decide for yourself. I don't think this has ever been seeded here before.

02 [1:50] Blue Suede Shoes

05 [1:07] doo-wop bit
06 [3:21] What Do You Do? >
07 [3:15] Readymades >
08 [1:49] Noises For The Leg
09 [3:35] Quiet Talks and Summer Walks >

16 [0:38] Pinball Wizard instrumental intro
17 [6:17] Rockaliser Baby >
18 [0:35] Goodnights [instrumental finale]
Total: 39:25

lineage: unknown generation Dolby B encoded Maxell UD C90 cassette.
transfer: Nakamichi Dragon (Dolby B decoded) > Pro Tools ("nip and tuck" edits, normalization and tracking) > Aiff files > xACT (Flac level 8 files with sector boundaries verified).

Note: The Bonzos were the openers on October 17 & 18, 1969 to The Kinks and Spirit (who were the headliners). There was an early show and a late show - I do not know which set this recording is from.

Thanks for this most rare opportunity -- I love the Bonzo Dog Band!! . . . . but what I wouldn't give to hear the KINKS set from this date as well. Got any Ray, Dave, Pete, and Mick from the Fillmore East???

Great blog, Hal!!!
